At five years old, Anderson is captivated by the simple joys of nature. He loves searching for colorful bugs under rocks, collecting interesting leaves and stones, and watching birds flutter in the trees. He’s happiest when he’s splashing in puddles after the rain or feeling the soft grass between his toes. Every outing is an adventure, and he delights in discovering something new, whether it’s spotting a snake or listening to frogs near a pond.
Seeing a bald eagle, whether in real life or in pictures, fills him with wonder and excitement, and he loves learning facts about them and imagining what it would be like to fly that high. He’s amazed by how big and powerful they look when soaring high in the sky. He loves their sharp eyes, strong beaks, and the way they glide so gracefully above trees and rivers. The fact that the bald eagle is a symbol of strength, freedom, and the great outdoors makes it even more fascinating to him.
Anderson loves building things with his Pop Pop and riding his bike around the neighborhood. He loves spending time outdoors making forts, birdhouses, or simple projects together, learning new skills and using his imagination with his little brother Dawson and Pop Pop by his side. Whether he’s drawing up ideas in the dirt or helping hammer pieces of wood, building is always an adventure.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Jr. Ranger, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
