With 52 national parks visited, he’s always chasing his next adventure. He’s drawn to the beauty of nature — the towering peaks, quiet forests and endless skies — and sees every hike, climb and wildlife sighting as a privilege he never takes for granted.
Anders’ favorite animal is the snake. While hiking through the Badlands and spotting a rattlesnake in Pinnacles, he became fascinated by their quiet power. He loves how each snake is different — colorful, mysterious and built for survival. Their patience and precision when hunting amazes him. To Anders, snakes aren’t scary — they’re beautiful, misunderstood and some of the most incredible creatures in the wild.
Anders’ favorite outdoor activity is “free-scrambling” — his kid version of free-soloing. Whether climbing Skull Rock at Joshua Tree, navigating mountainous Bryce Canyon or scaling rocky outcrops in Glacier, he loves the challenge of using just his hands, feet and instincts to conquer nature’s jungle gym. For him, every rock is an exciting new challenge — and a chance to test what he’s made of.
