What does Amelia love most about nature?

"Animals and trees!" Amelia is an avid collector of fallen leaves and flowers which she presses for her home-made art arrangements. She also collects and releases insects for observation. Amelia recently discovered an enthusiastic love of gardening by raising her own plants from seeds. She's always pretending to be animals, and loves to ask questions about living things, stars, and planets, and how things work in this wonderful world.

What is Amelia's favorite animal—and why?

Amelia says it "wouldn't be fair to choose a favorite because they are all so cute" - but she adores koalas, all birds, all canids, rodents, crocodilians, frogs, bees, rabbits, cats great and small, cetaceans, fish and sharks, invertebrates, deer, bats, and bears.

What is Amelia's favorite outdoor activity?

Exploring and collecting flowers, leaves, seeds, shells, and rocks, and hoping to catch a glimpse of wildlife.
