Her favorite animal, the Snowy Owl, captivates her with its fluffy feathers and impressive journey from adorable hatchling - that look like little cotton balls- to skilled hunters.
When she is not sketching or painting in nature, Amelia enjoys bird watching, documenting her observations in her Bird Journal, and collecting unique shells -that she adds to her collection- and shark teeth along the shore. She also takes an active role in ensuring the safety of nests and eggs in her neighborhood. She also often joins guided trails with the local National State Parks and the local Audubon Society.
