Learn moreAmelia loves the calm and peace that she feels while being out in nature. She loves to learn about all living things and how they work together to keep the environment as healthy as they can.
Anyone who knows Amelia knows she loves African Elephants. She has felt a connection to them since she was 2 years old. In addition to their intelligence and human-like emotions, the are beautiful animals. She loves how playful the babies are and how nurturing the herd is. She loves how they protect each other and how strong the matriarch is. Amelia had an intense desire to study them in their natural environment and spread awareness about their need for conservation.
Choose by one favorite activities is hard. She could spend hours outside reading in her hammock, kayaking on the lake, hiking through the wooded trails, swimming and exploring at the beach, skating on natural ice, building snowmen, or riding her bike. She finds being in nature calming. She also loves caring for all animals and thrives off of opportunities to work with uncommon animals at our local county farm.
