Receive Text UpdatesIt is calming to be in and full of life. I have been in outdoor Waldorf schools in sage scrub mountains and in marsh wetlands and both are cool for different reasons. I like watching different animals come out at different times of the year, and I can’t wait for the frogs and geckos to come back from hiding from winter. We made a habitat for our snakes at our house, and the black racers and eastern garters all live together in a stone covered hole like a big family. We always keep their sheds!
Lizards because I have a bearded dragon and I see them every day in the park where my school is. One time A broad headed skink came down an oak tree and licked my toe. Right now they are making lots of babies and they all live together up in the tree. They remind me of my bearded dragon
Building forts out of palm fronds and logs. Climbing muscadine vines, and looking for micro toads aka oak toads. Me and my mom like to listen to and identify different frog and toad calls and argue over who is right about which type of frog we hear. Right now we are releasing gulf fritillary butterflies . The whites on the outside of their wings look iridescent!
