Learn moreAdeline’s favorite thing about nature is the animals. She loves watching the birds in the mornings and the deer grazing in the neighbors pasture in the evenings. Adeline’s current farm tasks include taking care of our barn cat and six kittens. She’s also earned the nickname “chicken whisperer” because of how calmly she can gather and care for our chickens. Nature is her happy place, and she says it makes her feel peaceful and excited because there’s always something new to see and learn.
Adeline’s favorite animal is a horse. She thinks they are some of the most beautiful, graceful, and intelligent animals on earth. She loves the way horses move, and she dreams of taking riding lessons one day so she can build a bond with one of her own. She enjoys reading books about wild mustangs and famous horses in history.
Adeline loves riding her bike on our country roads, going on nature hikes, and searching for fossils, interesting rocks, and old bones. She has a curious spirit and says, “there’s always something new to discover every time you step outside.” Whether it’s spotting animal tracks, finding a unique feather, or watching a sunset, she loves how the outdoors always offers a new adventure.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Jr. Ranger, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
