Receive Text UpdatesAddi loves learning about every animal there is, and enjoys being in nature to learn new things about animals. There are no animals she shys away from. She loves them all equally. She is committed to their conservation, and will give us tips and tricks for how to help conserve animals and nature. I have never met an 8 year old who is so passionate about conserving the environment. She has checked out every Ranger Rick magazine from our local library to learn as much as she can about nature.
Addi’s favorite animal is any type of turtle or tortoise. She cannot pick a specific type, even though when have our own Russian Tortoise named Squirtle. She enjoys learning and educating people about the life and brumation cycle for these reptiles. We even get some turtle jokes, like what does a turtle do on its birthday? It Shell-ebrates. Even though turtles and tortoises are her favorite, she has a passion for enjoying any animal in nature.
Addi likes to be outside, investigating nature, identifying and listening to birds, and reading books about nature. As a 2nd grader she has a reading goal at school. It’s not uncommon to find her with a book about an animal reading outside. Addi wants to be a wildlife conservation officer when she grows up because she wants to help conserve the environment by teaching others about amazing animal and nature facts.
