What Adalyn loves most about nature is exploring and getting up close with animals and their habitats. She is always building little nests for birds, river rock castles for fish, and colony huts for ants! Getting dirty is all part of the fun- exploring creeks for crawdads and frogs, muddy puddles for worms, and the woods for critters are some of her favorite ways to interact with nature!
Adalyn's favorite animal is the bearded dragon! She loves that they look like mini dinosaurs, that they are "cool and creepy," and that they will interact with you! She likes running her finger along the glass at pet stores to watch them play and see if one will "puff up!"
Adalyn's favorite outdoor activity is definitely scavenging! She will hunt for rocks (she has a favorite rock), leaves, and flowers to collect and press to keep pretty and preserved, and will search for sticks and limbs for constructing her tree fort! Anything she can find in nature, she can find a use for; nothing is allowed to go to waste. Nature and the outdoors allows her imagination to run wild with endless possibilities!
